This case highlights our collaboration with a Russian furniture distributor who required a reliable, long-term supplier of ergonomic office chairs for their expanding dealer network across Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
The client sought a manufacturer offering consistent quality, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery for bulk orders. After several rounds of communication, product sampling, and factory verification, we successfully fulfilled their first order of 400 ergonomic office chairs tailored to local market preferences.
1. Project Background
In early 2025, a Moscow-based furniture distributor reached out to us after discovering our ergonomic seating series online. Their business mainly supplies office furniture to local dealers, co-working spaces, and government project contractors.
The customer had previously faced issues with unstable chair quality and delays from other suppliers. Therefore, they were searching for a manufacturer capable of providing consistent production capacity and customized service.
2. Understanding Client Needs
Through initial discussions, we identified three key expectations:

3. Sample Testing & Technical Confirmation
The client evaluated the samples for nearly three weeks. Their feedback focused on lumbar support strength, mesh elasticity, and armrest adjustability.
We made two small adjustments for the bulk order:

These optimizations increased customer confidence and accelerated the order confirmation.
4. Mass Production & Quality Control
Once the client confirmed the order for 400 units, production began immediately.
To ensure quality consistency, our QC team implemented:

Mid-production inspections (frame alignment, screw torque checks).

Final assembly QC with 100% functional testing: height adjustment, swivel, and tilt mechanism.
We also provided packaging customization with Russian/English bilingual labels, making it easier for the distributor’s downstream dealers.
5. Shipping Arrangement to Russia
Given the customer’s shipping preference and the cost advantage, we arranged FOB Ningbo with a 20GP container loading plan specifically optimized for chair volume.
To avoid damage during long-distance transportation:

All chair bases were protected with EPE foam.

Key joints were individually reinforced.

Additional corner protection was added for winter shipping.
The container departed on schedule and arrived at St. Petersburg port within the expected lead time.
6. Customer Feedback & Ongoing Cooperation
